Dear Farhia

after reading "Emako Blue" a story of a girl who died before coming a famous singer I would love you to  read It because It is one of the most effected stories that I ever read it . It shows the reality of living in a dangerous area in LA. which are full of gangs and danger, the main character in the story Emako Blue is a fifteen years old girl with a big dream to  become a famous singer with her sweet voice and her true friends she tries hard to face the sad reality of being in danger , In the story  there are a lot of problem will face Emako but with her immature personality she will try to  solve it, the story contain her daily life with her friends and her ambition to become a superstar that everybody recognize her voice and talent, I am recommending this book to you because it is a great  mix of a sad reality in a poor area that you can't know when some gun will shot you and a big dream in just one small heart for a very young sweet girl.

Chose two characters from the story and write a conversation they might have.

i will right a conversation between Emako the main character and Savannah the girl who used to be jealous of Emako's personality 

Savannah : I am sorry 
Emako: sorry for what?
Savannah :sorry for hating you in the past 
Emako: why you would hate me I never did anything wrong to you
Savannah: I don't know maybe because I was jealous 
Emako: jealous?
Savannah: yes you are a pretty girl with an amazing sweet voice you had everything you wanted a family that loved you a friend who cared about you and while I was lonely my parents never care about me and I never had true friends who care about me 
Emako: do you think I am that much lucky 
Savannah: I used to think that,  but after I found out about your father who left your family and your brother who hangs out with a gangs and how many time you could be in danger in the area you are living in I discovered how strong girl you are you never let your friend notice how sad you are and never give up your dream to be a famous singer.
Emako: I never hate you actually always wanted to befriend with you, but you never let me a chance 
Savannah: really! I thought you hate me
Emako: yes you always seem lonely even-though you look mean outside I know you are a good person inside
Savannah: really can we start again and be friends
Emako: sure .
Savannah: thank you Emako you are really an amazing person.

In 20 years later i imagine my self to be a successful and hard-working women in both my personal life and my career also to have a lovely caring family who cared for each other and one of my dreams is  to volunteer in a lot of works helping other people

 make a list with five dreams that you would like to realize?

- go to the university     
- take my Bachelor's degree     
- to help a lot of people     
- to get a great job

Explain how this theme appears throughout the movie?

There was a lot of examples of fate and destiny in the movie  one of them is when the main   character Jamal was answering the questions  each question was part of   his life ,In the last question the 20 million question the main character   answered the right answer without knowing it 

Explain if you believe in destiny or fate. Why or why not?

I believe in destiny and fate because each person have his own destiny no matter how you tried to avoid it , in islam religion believing in fate and destiny is one of the main thing we believe in

my favorite music is for a famous arabian female singer  and 

it is about how love can change the person and make him see 

everything beautiful and every one should fall in love and the

writer for this song mean was that we should all live happily

and happy life cant complete without a true love and the 

meaning of the song with the singer voice mixed very well

Papa Lalo

1) When Harry finds Papa Lalo dead in his chair, how is his

 reaction different from the first time when Papa Lalo was just

 asleep? What does this tell us about how their relationship

 has changed?



When he was calling him to watch his daily telenovelas at 9:00

 pm he didn't answer he thought first that  Papa 

Lalo was sleeping but when he didn't answer he realized Papa 

Lalo looked different . Harry was shocked and scared 

something bad could happen to  Papa Lalo Harry reaction 

was different from the first time he was careless and didn't 

love his grandfather .

This difference tell how Harry's feeling toward his grandfather 

changed and that he loved and care for him.

in the story "Papa Lalo" p:75 "Papa Lalo proudly introduced 

his family each time putting his arm around Harry he'd say 

''Este es mi hijo Harry'' and Harry was surprised to find that 

he liked these introductions. he even secretly liked the fact 

that his mother made him pose for a picture with Papa Lalo"



2) What do you think was Harry's reason for burning Papa 

Lalo's suit?

Harry wanted to remove his grandfather memory from his

life because it will hurt him every time he remember Papa Lalo so 

he burned the suit .

what is love?

love is a feeling coming from the bottom of the heart and you want to live with this special person the rest of your life , love start low but with time is grow up in your heart and become higher so you can't avoid it,you've never felt pain, until you've felt love, Valentine's Day is a special day when you show your love and give gifts but the most precious gift is the one from the heart , in relationship it doesn't matter how many times you say sorry but how much you mean it.
